Hello,
When I try to execute this command I am getting below message ?

root@ucserver:~# univention-app Install nextcloud
Ignoring /var/cache/univention-appcenter/appcenter.software-univention.de/4.4/samba-memberserver.ini because of id: Value required
Ignoring /var/cache/univention-appcenter/appcenter.software-univention.de/4.4/webuntis_20161128154633.ini because of id: Value required
Ignoring /var/cache/univention-appcenter/appcenter.software-univention.de/4.4/dhcp-server.ini because of id: Value required

Is it something with related to command I wrote ? Or is it something else ?

Hello @azizkazdal

can you please post the output of univention-app info?

By the way, did the installation of Nextcloud succeed?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Nico

Hello @azizkazdal,

something seems to be broken in your local App Center cache. To fix it, you need to download the App Center data for the local cache again. This can be done with:

univention-app update

To be sure that no old cache data does interfere, you could delete the cache before with:

rm -v /var/cache/univention-appcenter/appcenter.software-univention.de/4.4/.*

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Nico

When I first install UCS I choosed Turkey as region and I could not manage to install properly UCS. Then did a clean install with default setting and nextcloud successfuly installed. But now I have problem with SuiteCRM

I installed it againg with default setting and no more cache error for now

Hello @azizkazdal,

now I’m puzzled.

  1. The cache error is gone. That’s good.
  2. You had problems with SuiteCRM. Can you please provide more details about the error?

Best regards,
Nico

Hello @azizkazdal,

from your postings I understand that you wanted to join your UCS system to an existing Active Directory Domain, right? For joining you used your personal account in the AD.

Does that account have full administrator rights in AD?

Joining UCS as a member server requires a user account with administrator rights like for example Administrator.

The SuiteCRM app should use the UCS internal OpenLDAP as directory service. When UCS is run as AD member in an Active Directory domain, the UCS system works as a kind of a proxy for LDAP taking care of the LDAP requests and it decides which data comes from UCS and which data is requested from AD.

Best regards,
Nico
