3 domain join scripts still pending

UCS - Univention Corporate Server

Hey guys,

I still have 3 domain join scripts pending after installing, updating, uninstalling and reinstalling the active directory compatible domain controller.

My version is 4.2-1 errata96 (Lesum), and the 3 join scripts that fail to execute are 92univention-management-console-web-server, 97-univention-s4-connector and 98univention-samba-dns.
I noticed this line: Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed

Please reboot the system and run univention-run-join-scripts again. If this won’t help return with /var/log/univention/updater.log as well as /var/log/univention/join.log.

System --> Univention Configuration Registry --> edit below UCR varibale:

  • nameserver1: , ex: 10.1.1.1
  • dns/forwarder1: , ex: 8.8.8.8
  • samba4/role: remove/delete any value in this, as usual it could be “DC”
    Finally, execute remaining scripts or rejoin. Good luck!

I wouldn’t recommend to remove samba4/role otherwise the hints are the very exact solution.

Not the UCS variable “samba4/role”, just the value in it, eg: DC, RODC, etc…
