Univention-management-console-server needs too much RAM

I have a problem I can’t explain.

After a certain time it consumes too much RAM.

With htop I found out that the univention-management-console-server is the culprit.

root@cloud:~# ps aux | grep /usr/sbin/univention-management-console-server
root 20246 0.0 0.0 14316 976 pts/0 S+ 18:16 0:00 grep /usr/sbin/univention-management-console-server
root 26552 0.9 42.7 4165128 3500028 ? S Jul18 213:24 /usr/bin/python2.7 /usr/sbin/univention-management-console-server start

What does it mean?

invoke-rc.d univention-management-console-server status
root@cloud:~# invoke-rc.d univention-management-console-server status

If I stop the service, there will be enough RAM again. But the error is not fixed.

Any ideas, anyone?

Hi,

looks really a little bit too much- even I would not agree of having no free memory being an issue.

Anyways, it looks it uses too much indeed. There is a bug open for it. Once it is released you will need to upgrade.
