UCS Portalseite w/o App Links, only login

I am currently using UCS 4.4 for testing purposes and would like to put UCS into the DMZ.

Now the question arises that the UCS portal page with all installed apps appears via the public IP, which I don’t want.

A landing page with the request to register should be displayed, which makes sense, otherwise the users get the idea to click through all apps (etherpad, nextcloud, etc.).

How can I implement this?

Hi,

one of the release highlights of UCS 4.4 is that you can force a login. Please have a look to the documentation.

Kind regards,

i managed such a solution under 4.3-x already successfully.
at some (errata)point they realised a assited guide right at the landing page which is pretty self explanatory. the “trick” is to assign the apps to a group (such as “user” or “domain user” etc) and so the won’t be shown if you’re not a member of this group (which you can’t be if you’re not logged in).

i have declaed one entry as being the one for “login” (you’ll be getting redirected to the login-page which can cause smaller problems with some script stoppers) and put it into “guest” - and so i exactly reached your goal: a landingpage which just shows one single entry - “login”
