UCS 5.2: How to change self service password reset address?

Hi all,

I have the user self service module installed. However, I do not find a way how a user can set / change the E-Mail address that is being used to send a password reset token.
Can this somehow be made configurable for the user?
I tried adding univentionPasswordSelfServiceEmail to the ucr variable self-service/ldap_attributes, but it does not work - the field does not appear when I try to change a user profile.

Any hints?

Hi all,

I found that the recovery E-Mail can be changed in “protect my account” in the self service. However, the E-Mail Address is not validated after a change, so if a user misspells it, someone else could take over the domain.

I feel it is a missing feature to allow for users to change this password reset address and trigger an email address verification by sending a mail with a confirmation token to the new address before accepting it.
