I have been trying to create an account for the openSUSE forums and that process took me to the idp-portal.suse.com web form. I filled in the data and then confirmed the email address, as I just did to access this forum. But, there doesn’t seem to be an account created for it, as each time I try to log in there it says, “log in to profile not available for employees yet.” Which has been that way for just about a month? Usually online sign ups to forums can be done much more quickly? I tried to use that portal to set up a “new” account using the same user name and password and it said, “That user name is in use,” except it isn’t actually available, and I am not an employee of openSUSE or SUSE.
OK, I figured it out and just went to the forum and tried to log in and the data was accepted. Sorry for taking up the cyber space on it. Wasn’t too clear that the profile was created, etc.
