Hi all,
as posted earlier I messed my horde installation up completely. Reinstalling completes, but I cannot open horde, so I am sure that there are settings which need to be removed.
What do I have to do in order to clean all settings up so that horde opens at least after it has been reinstalled ?

Also diese RC-Pakete sind Pakete, die entfernt wurden, aber von denen die
Konfigurationsdateien noch vorhanden sind.
Ob und wie das jetzt einen Docker-Container betrifft, kann ich nicht sagen.
Ich würde mal diese ganzen RC-Pakete entfernen und dann nochmal eine Neuinstallation von Horde probieren.
Entfernen kannst du diese Pakete hiermit:
dpkg --list | grep "^rc" | cut -d " " -f 3 | xargs sudo dpkg --purge
Vorher natürlich eine Sicherung deines Systems durchführen.
Falls das nichts bringt, weiss ich auch nicht mehr weiter.

Das Problem ist bei einem Update von Horde geschehen. Die neue Version läuft unter Docker. Dabei wurde offenbar die Konfiguration gekillt. Einige andere User hatten die von mir beobachteten Probleme auch, es ließ sich aber durch Neuinstallation beheben. Nur bei mir nicht.
Ich vermute, dass das Problem die Konfigurationsdaten darstellen, die ich in irgendeiner Datenbank vermute, PostGreSQL soweit ich weiß. Mit MySQL habe ich verschiedentlich gearbeitet, aber mit PostGreSQL kenne ich mich nicht wirklich aus.
Ich warte noch auf den Horde - Experten, der mir den Einzeiler für die Kommandozeile liefert, nach dessen Ausführung Horde auf Null gesetzt wird …

Diese beiden Verzeichnisse müssen vor einer Neuinstallation gelöscht werden:
/usr/share/univention-appcenter/apps/horde
/var/lib/univention-appcenter/apps/horde
Die Daten (z. B. vom Kalender) bleiben trotzdem erhalten.
Horde was delivered in two flavours:
If horde was installed as a native app, you could remove all the old horde packages:
apt-get remove --yes --purge php-horde* univention-horde4 pear-horde-channel

If horde is installed as a docker container from the App Center, you could force-remove and reinstall a fresh horde:
univention-app update
univention-app stall horde
univention-app remove --do-not-backup horde
univention-app register
univention-app install horde
Please note that all settings from horde might be removed by this.
Thanks for the additional info. In my case it helped to uninstall horde, delete
/usr/share/univention-appcenter/apps/horde
/var/lib/univention-appcenter/apps/horde
and reinstall horde. All important data (such as calendar entries) were kept.
