Problem: A Re-Installed ucs@school Slave Does Not Start it's DHCP Service

Problem

After a failure the attempt to re-install the school slave by scripts does not succeed as the dhcp service complains in the /var/log/daemon.log about a missing wpad.dat file and refuses to start.

Environment

The dhcp service relies on LDAP configuration where the wpad.dat option is specified. This file is installed with the setup of the ucs@school environment.

Solution

Option 1

Install the dhcp server after having installed ucs@school

Option 2

Ignore the failure, install ucs@school and try to start the dhcp service then.
