NTP shift 10 minutes

Hello
I have a UCS Server with AD role and NT server role

Mac clients and server point to the IP of the UCS server for there update of the time update
every few hours the time jump un the clients with 10min in the future, witch cause the cannot login to the server true AFP because there logon ticket is not yet valid.

In the UCS i use 3 belgium public NTP Servers
the UCS have full unrestricted internet access

Any hints ?

Hi,

is this a physical or vitualized machine?

In case it is virtualized with Hyper-V you may consider disabling the “Time Synchronization” option somewhere in the “integration services” section of the VM.

BTW: There is an english section in this forum.

Hi Dirk

Indeed the UCS is installed in a ESX vSphere virtual server.

The passtrue time was not enabled in the vcenter on this server, butt when executed a “date” command i noticed the same shift / date

set a working NTP server (of my Firewall) solve the issue at this time

About the english forum, yes i have noticed the moment when i had post the question the moment i was scrolling down
