New users unable to login

Authorization Required

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required.

those users have been assigned domain admins also. password has been reset. still unable to connect.

The error message is a very generic one, it can appear in a wide range of web servers, applications and browsers. So let me ask about the situation you’re facing:-

[li] which UCS version are you using, and did you upgrade recently?[/li]
[li] which application throws the error? is it the Univention Management Console itself, or one of the apps from the appcenter?[/li]
[li] which client system and browser are involved?[/li][/ul]

Depending on your answers, I can perhaps point you to the corresponding log files where to look for the cause.

We were initially using 4.0-1

users are able to logon to console. there are 2 applications installed. svn and trac. both have issues. when the server was initially built 2 months back, it worked flawlessly. 2 users are still able to login. this happened only for new users since 1 week.

after facing the issue. we updated console and app. but it was not fruitful.

this issue is happening for all browsers.

None of the newly created users can logon to applications. but they are all able to logon to UCS console.

Im having the very same issue we can log into UCS but not into apps? ever since the upgrade from CSU 4.9 to 5.2
