Nagios Alarms :Samba DRS CRITICAL: (-1073610699, The operation cannot be performed.)

We are getting the following Nagios Alarms on just 1 of our UCS Backup Domain Controllers.

Notification Type: PROBLEM

Service: UNIVENTION_SAMBA_REPLICATION

State: CRITICAL

Date/Time: Wed May 9 07:25:55 PDT 2018

Additional Info:

Samba DRS CRITICAL: (-1073610699, The operation cannot be performed.)

When we run samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --check-for-conflicts we get that there is no errors.

HOWEVER when we run either one of these commands:
samba-tool drs showrepl
or
samba-tool drs kcc

We get the following errors respectively:
ERROR(runtime): DsReplicaGetInfo of type 0 failed - (-1073610699, 'The operation cannot be performed.')
and
ERROR(runtime): DsExecuteKCC failed - (-1073610699, 'The operation cannot be performed.')

Has any one else run into this? Any one have a possibly fix? Doing any of the suggested DRS Error fixes on here or google end with these same errors still showing up.

I’m stumped now.

I think you can just rejoin the system with univention-join.

Alternatively, increase the Samba debug level and check the Samba log file.
