Nach Update auf 14.0.6-1 kein Zugriff auf Nextcloud

Hallo,

Univention V. 4.3-3 errata430

Nextcloud hatte ich über das App Center installiert (Container).

Nach dem kürzlichen (fehlerfreien) Update auf Nextcloud 14.0.6-1 bekomme ich im Browser die Fehlermeldung

„Downgrading is not supported and is likely to cause unpredictable issues (from 15.0.2.0 to 14.0.6.0)”

Der Nextcloudservice wird zwar gestartet, aber ein Zugriff ist nicht möglich.

In \var\lib\univention-appcenter\apps\nextcloud\data\integration\config\config.php steht < ‘version’ => ‘15.0.2.0’, >

Service und Rechner-neustarts oder ein Verändern des Versionseintrages in der config.php ändern nichts.

Evtl. wurde direkt in der Nextcloudapp zuvor wirklich auf V15 aktualisiert - kann mich daran aber nicht daran erinnern ?!

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das wieder zum laufen bekomme?

Hallo,

das sieht in der Tat etwas merkwürdig aus. Auf einem Testsystem lief bei mir gerade das Update auf 14.0.6-1 ohne anschließende Probleme durch.
Aus dem Appcenter dürfte die 15 nicht gekommen sein, zumindest finde ich weder bei den Versionsnummern, inklusive der Namen der Nextcloud-Dockerimages keinen Hinweis auf Version 15. Das Test-Appcenter zeigt auch noch keine Hinweise auf das neue Release.

Bliebe wohl nur noch der interne Updater, welcher eigentlich deaktiviert sein sollte ('updatechecker' => 'false'). Ich würde erwarten, Spuren eines Updates im Nextcloud-Log (/var/lib/univention-appcenter/apps/nextcloud/data/nextcloud-data) zu finden.

Wie nun weiter? Eines der bekanntesten Honcker-Zitate (“Vorwärts immer, rückwärts nimmer”) gilt auch hier. Es sein denn, Sie haben eine Sicherung der Postgres-DB auf dem Docker-Wirt. Haben Sie die?

Wenn Sie ansonsten nicht bis zur Bereitstellung der App mit Version 15 warten können oder wollen, bliebe wirklich nur, ein manuelles Update gemäß https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/stable/admin_manual/maintenance/manual_upgrade.html zu versuchen. ACHTUNG! Das wäre zunächst nur eine Idee. Ich habe das noch nie mit einer dockerisierten Nextcloud-Instanz getestet und keine Idee, was man sich damit u.U. bei zukünftigen Updates für Probleme einhandelt.

i have the same problem, Update univention to 4.4.0 and nextcloud (dont remember the version) and now this message appears:
"Downgrading is not supported and is likely to cause unpredictable issues (from 15.0.2.0 to 14.0.6.0) "

So… i just found and remember after that i upgrade the nextcloud via its web interface. This error is something about docker image. My nextcloud was version 15.0.2 and the univention tried to update the docker image to version 14.0.6-1.

Can someone help?? :slight_smile:

So… you did update Nextcloud to v15? That’s a bad idea. If you’re using the UCS Nextcloud app, only ever update Nextcloud via UCS’s own update mechanism, never via Nextcloud’s.

You have two options at this point:

  1. Restore the Nextcloud database from a backup from before you updated it to v15.
  2. Convert your Nextcloud app installation to a manual v15 installation and move the files & database over to that.

So… the fix was easy till i find it :stuck_out_tongue:

I had to manual upgrade the nextcloud version 14.0.6-1 from UCS docker to nextcloud 15.0.5 version. I download the update from the official website. After i extract the files to one folder “nextcloud”. Since i am working on windows i open winscp, connect to ucs as root and went to /var/lib/docker/random number/ merged/var/www/html/ and copied the files from the 15.0.5 and overwrite the old ones.
Then i connect to my nextcloud webserver, and nextcloud ask to do the upgrade to 15.0.5. I did the upgrade and now im back with my nextcloud users and files!!! :slight_smile:

That’ll break as soon as you restart your Docker container, or as soon as that Docker container is updated the next time.
