MTU für eth0 unter UCS 4.1 einstellen - wie?

Hallo zusammen,

aus verschiedenen Gründen möchte ich die MTU für eth0 (kann auch für eth1 gelten) auf meinem UCS 4.1 Server umstellen. Das geht unter UCS ja nicht direkt durch Editieren von /etc/network/interfaces, da diese Datei überschrieben wird. Stattdessen wird man auf /etc/univention/templates/files/etc/network/interfaces.d hingewiesen. Hier finde ich ein Skript 10-default, das sich mir aber auf den ersten Blick nicht erschließt:

Wie kann ich hier den gewünschten MTU Wert eintragen ? Oder geht das per UCS registry ?

Hi alle,

okay, hab es rausbekommen wo ich die MTU einstellen kann. Stutzig geworden bin ich aber über:

for value in iface.options: print '\t%s' % (value,)

Frage an die Experten: wo kommt “iface.options” her ?

das dürfte über UCR-Variablen einzustellen sein:

interfaces/.*/options/.*: <empty> A variable in the form interfaces/INTERFACE/options/INDEX allows the configuration of additional options per network interface (see 'man 5 interfaces').
