I found in a post a hint to a “testcenter” but could not figure out how to find this / how to use this.
any idea where I can find these apps / the testcenter?

the Test App Center is not intended for production use. It is the staging area for the app developers. The apps that can be found in there are under development and not approved and released for regular users.
Odoo and KIX have been in the App Center before. The app providers abandoned the maintenance. HumHub has not been in the App Center yet. Let the vendor know that you have a need for the solution via the App Center.
