Kopano server: Can't contact LDAP server

Hi,
I get the follow error in the kopano server log and mail.log

# journalctl -u kopano-server
...
Mai 31 05:30:02 ucs kopano-server[2021]: LDAP search error: Can't contact LDAP server. Will unbind, reconnect and retry.
Mai 31 05:34:32 ucs kopano-server[2021]: LDAP search error: Can't contact LDAP server. Will unbind, reconnect and retry.
Mai 31 05:34:32 ucs kopano-server[2021]: LDAP search error: Can't contact LDAP server. Will unbind, reconnect and retry.

Therefore I notice no restrictions in usability.

It appears on a fresh installation of Univeniton 4.4-0 with kopano apps. I didn’t modify the ldap/kopano configurations.

How can I resolve this error throw?

Hi @jo316,

this logging has been discussed a few times already on this forum. This error can be ignored. Each configured kopano-server thread holds a dedicated connection to OpenLDAP. Eventually these connections will be closed from OpenLDAP which prompts kopano-server to print above message and simply reconnect.
