Internet gateway config for UCS Core?

I haven’t used UCS over the past few years so I am out of date. However I am about to put the final pieces of new LAN into place and would really like to get back into it.

My question is: Does the Proxy app also add routing functionality to UCS? If not, would I be able to configure UCS as I would a Debian system to turn it into a router?

I suspect you could if you really wanted to, but there is no provision for it that I’m aware of. I run my UCS system in a VM and I have opnSense running in another VM along side it. I think it would be better to use a system designed for routing if you need that functionality.
