How to Take over user form AD to Univention user

Hi
I have problem with adconnector and I want to takeover user form MS AD to Univention user but I can’t do that I already remove adconnector and I try to edit LDAP user but no luck

Attention: The user "file.sod" is part of the Active Directory domain. UCS can only change certain attributes.

Is there any way to take over user?

Hi

your users which are imported from AD have a flag set like “synced from AD - read only”. This prevents users being edited on UCS (ie name change) as UCS does not have any write permissions to AD.
So by default UCS is not allowed to write to AD which is the reason these users are “read only”.

You can simply not edit these users.

If you want to take over your AD completely your will have to follow the docs.
If you just want to have some users available in UCS without any AD connection you have to create them manually.
