I am having a problem with the domain takeover function.
It fails during the copy DC=ForestDnsZones step.
I have set up a new UCS Primary Directory Node with the same DNS domain and a unique hostname. The IP address is also in the same network. The AD server is a Server 2012 instance with its functional level downgraded to 2008 R2. The AD server is detected correctly, and users, computers, etc., are displayed properly.
The log file ends with “Domain join failed” after the “Restarting nscd” step.
What could be the problem?
