Creating extended attribute drop down?

Is there documentation that I may have missed to create a extended attribute drop down, instead of having to manually enter a value? I saw a post on the forum but it was in German.

This depends a little bit on what values should be displayed inside of the drop down?
There are two ways to do so. For both you need to define an own syntax class. A static list of values can be defined or dynamic lists which uses LDAP searches. Both is described here: http://docs.software-univention.de/developer-reference-4.2.html#udm:ea:select

Unfortionately not, but there is a more recent version of that documentation for UCS 4.4:

There have been some corrections of that documentation, especially because the filepath where to create the python files has been changed.

What exact problems are you encountering or what don’t you understand?
