Backup UCS Directory / LDAP

Hi all,

is there a recommendation / best practise how to backup the data of the UCS directory?

In the UCS manual is mentioned, which folders should be included in the backup (e.g. with bacula).
But especially for user and computer data it seems necessary to me, to backup the LDAP data as well.

Is it a good idea, to stop the ldap daemon and export all data with slapcat respectively import the data with slapadd in the case of lost data? Or is there more to do, for a complete backup / restore of the UCS directory?

And in this context, the Samba 4 LDAP (AD) would completely be recreated out of the UCS LDAP by the S4 Connector, if UCS LDAP is restored and Samba LDAP is empty, right?

Regards
